Fellini's Underwear Resurfaces

J. Williams: "In 2002, David Meyers and I were shopping in a thrift store in Indianapolis when one of us-- I forget who-- spotted a pair of white cotton underwear with FELLINI (an Italian clothing company) emblazoned on the waistband. Thinking of the film director, we knew we had a brilliant piece of unintentional art on our hands. ... Thus was born 'Fellini's Underwear,' a show at Utrillo's Gallery in Indianapolis. The show consisted solely of the underwear mounted on a piece of velvet-covered plywood. Sarah Falkner wrote an original essay for the show. Here is a picture of the underwear and the text of the flyer."
